Children and Water: What's More Fun Than That??

The aquatic setting can be a very useful and beneficial setting for providing therapeutic interventions for children. Most children love to play in the water and the opportunity to just be a kid is something that many of the children we see on a weekly basis rarely get a chance to do. The aquatic setting provides freedom of movement without the added resistance of gravity as well as providing a well balanced fun environment for play. We have seen many achievements of children take place in the aquatic setting long before children would attempt the same activities on land.

Simple Strokes Therapy is proud to offer programs to support our traditional therapy treatment sessions. These programs encourage confidence, independence, and growth of both the children and families who participate. All children are eligible to enroll.

Our current program includes aquatic therapy sessions designed to introduce children to swimming with an emphasis on sensory integration and motor coordination. We offer fun and challenging aquatic therapy sessions. We are able to work with children individually to improve motor skills and enhance learning potential.
